伊藤北斗さんの新作抹茶碗。カラフルなチェック柄が用いられた新しい作風の作品は、ギザギザと波打った口縁が魅力の造形に、木菟、月、樹木やオリエンタルな文様が全面に描かれています。チェック柄は銀の使い方を工夫し、浮き出るような柔らかく深みのある色合いが表れており、これまで取り組んできた原色の作風とはまた違った、味わいある雰囲気に仕上がっています。見込みのパープルや、高台周りにもしっかりと手が入れられています。別冊炎芸術「見て、買って楽しむ愛しの茶器」掲載作品です。
