This plate is sized to function as a dinner plate

then the pinwheel  "petals" and center were tack fused in a separate firing for texture and dimension

green and purple glass was strategically placed in a bowl shaped ceramic mold with specifically placed holes in it

The clear circle is placed on top and then I added a bit more fun and color with "glass confetti" sprinkled around the design which also added depth to the colors

Its also a beautiful bowl to display when not using. Artistic Process: The poinsettias were kiln casted and then fired onto the green background which was presided. It was then kilnformed into an organic wavy bowl shape. Dimensions: 9" diameter Acrylic display stand is included.
