Lemony Lavender leaves I found this wood frame

I found this wood frame with the metal words "Take a Hike" and thought I could add glass to make it into an interesting artwork

Once I have decided on a design

The glass stand is made of multiple layers of blue transparent in a diamond shape

Dimensions:  13" wide x 21" tall x 3" deep

The final fused result is then kilnformed into a curve shaped for display and coldworked so the bottom is sturdy and flat

Artistic Process: I made the glass lace first, then matched it to the right colors. I then made a background of 2 layers of glass to achieve the right background color. A third firing in the kiln to bring the lace and background glass together. It is installed on a V shaped iron sculpture stand. Dimensions 10" wide x 15" tall x 3.
