The artistic process:  I started with a medium green transparent glass and a glass made of light green and white swirls

Dimensions: 10" diameter x 7" tall

A third firing in the kiln to bring the lace and background glass together

Its functional and it also looks great on display

Sunflowers Sparkling Suncatcher Piano A glass sculpture in theThis Sunflowers on a sparkling iridescent background is a perfect suncatcher or ornament as it will sparkle in any light sunlight in a window, direct inside light and hanging on a tree with lights. Artistic Process: the background is glass that has a metallic coating to provide the iridescent shimmers. The sunflowers are kilncasted. All were tack fired to the background. Dimensions (approximate): Glass is 3" diameter, String is included.
