We recommend flushing out your vacuum pump at each oil change, before refilling the pump with vacuum oil. After draining old vacuum pump oil, add flushing oil until two thirds full in the sight glass. Allow pump to run under vacuum for 3 4 minutes. Drain flushing oil well.
