京都の陶芸家、通次廣さんの薩摩茶盌。今回紹介する茶碗の中で唯一の和物手の茶碗。一見すると黒っぽい筒茶碗に見えますが、四種の釉薬が掛け分けられており、角度により様々な色合い、肌合いが楽しめます。正面と裏2箇所に口縁から白釉が美しく流れており、また見込みには灰釉が流れ窯変し、景色を作っています。本歌もなかなかお目にかかる事がが無い、まさしく通好みな逸品です。別冊炎芸術「見て、買って楽しむ愛しの茶器」掲載作品です。

This is a work with such a profound and unique presence that it feels like anything you mention about it will be drowned out by the power of the work. The dark skin with a hint of scarlet gives off a sense of wabiliness, the lustrous skin created through the long pursuit of gas kiln firing pioneers, and the peach colored body, giving off an indescribable sex appeal. While it truly has the feel of an exquisite work of art, the
