اس کتاب کی دوبارہ اشاعت بھی ایک پوری کہانی ہے۔ راشد اشرف صاحب نے پرانی کتابوں کو، ایسی کتابوں کو جو 1950 سے 1980 کی دہائی میں شائع ہوئیں اور اب کمیاب ہیں یا بالکل دستیاب نہیں، کی دوبارہ اشاعت کا بیڑا اٹھایا۔ مزید پر کام جاری ہے۔ ان کتابوں کی دوبارہ اشاعت کے لئے مختلف ادیبوں کے گھر والوں سے تحریری اجازت نامے بھی لیے گئے اور انہیں “زندہ کتابوں” کا نام دیا گیا۔

2002ء- شاہد حمید نے کئی سال کی محنت شاقہ کے بعد اس عظیم ناول کو اُردو قالب میں منتقل کیا اور اسے لاہور سے شائع کروایا۔
