I cold work the edges smooth and then fire polish it in the kiln

The glass has been kiln fired using temperatures reaching upwards of 1500 degrees and then cooled slowly (annealed) for added durability

The artistic process:  Blue transparent glass is cut to size then ground up clear and blue transparent glass is added in a design pattern and tack fused together

Inspiration: Colorful butterflies around the blooms in our garden
