The poppy is kilncasted and made from glass powders and ground up glass

The artistic process:  Grape Purple Transparent glass is cut to size then ground up clear and grape transparent glass is added in a design pattern and along the edges and tack fused together

Using a specific program to ramp up and hold the heat in the kiln to spread and stretch the glass to create a unique design. After coldworking the edges, I then cut an interesting complementary
