Cerulean Dream Silk and stone carvingEmbroidery is one of the traditional handicrafts that has been part of centuries old Armenian cultural identity along with carpet weaving, miniature painting, and stone carving. Prayers of Saint Gregory of Narek, signifying healing and protection, illustrated in a twelfth century manuscript, the floor plan of Aghtamar's Holy Cross church, and embroidered needlework are the inspirations of this design.
