Arietta Napa Valley H Block Hudson Vineyard 2018 SCCOS which make up the majorityH Block is where Arietta started, the very first bottling in 1996, and still the estate's flagship homage to the Right Bank of Bordeaux. It's a Cabernet Franc driven blend (56% Cabernet Franc, 44% Merlot) from a single site: the famed Hudson Vineyard in Carneros, where the Franc grows on a volcanic outcrop and the Merlot in clay loam, both planted in 1986. Aged in new French oak and bottled unfiltered, the 2018 is a wine of real perfume and depth. Now
