but as a way to invite the viewer to see their own thoughts and memories reflected in the surface

A paper collage once stood arranged, touched, aligned then dismantled. All that remains is the image, a trace of its brief life. Its shapes suggest the face of a clock, yet time is not counted here; it moves, slips, circles, and flies. With the physical object gone, the photograph occupies a space between presence and absence. It holds a moment that has already passed while continuing to exist now.
