Circa 1930s Turkish Hand Beaten Copper Ablution Jugs Vintage Using hand blocks & printingCirca 1930s Turkish hand beaten copper ablution jugs. Crescent & star stamped with the inscription ' HASAN ' on them. Hasan being a male Muslim name & these were traditionally given as gifts to the groom by his brides parents. These jugs were used to carry hot water to preform the Muslim ritual ablution. Both are in great condition, aged perfectly ( please see pictures ). No cracks, breakages or damage.
