Still from a nightmare - part 1 Home Page and traditions of Trompe-l'oeil paintingThe three sculptures explore a moment of enforced transformation in which the boundaries between body and mind become blurred. Through the act of containment and subsequent rupture, the work considers how identity is shaped through processes of imposition, adaptation, and fragmentation. The body is situated within a liminal state where protection and restriction, play and violence, autonomy and compliance coexist.
