How it was made:  The ladybug is kilncasted

5" x 3" with an 18" stainless steel chain

The final step is to drape the glass over a stainless steel cone shape creating this open handkerchief shape

The glass has been kiln fired using temperatures reaching upwards of 1500 degrees and then cooled slowly (annealed) for added durability

I love to bring in a few rose blooms to enjoy inside and this would be the perfect size for them

Dichroic glass is fascinating s it sparkles and each individual dichroic glass has a transmitted color and a completely different reflected color, as certain wavelengths of light either pass through or are reflected.
