The thin, soft and drapable carrier material enables good contact with the wound bed. The product is designed to reduce pain and to be removed atraumatically from the wound. Atrauman Silicone is a soft and permeable wound contact layer made of a polyethylene terephthalate (PET) mesh as carrier material which is coated on both sides with (polydimethylsiloxane based) silicone gel.
