The artistic process:  I started by combining blues and lemongrass greens into a pattern and firing them together in a thick form

Using some transparency in the glass to create one effect when the light is behind the art and a different look when the light is in front of the art (such as if its in front of a window -- it will look different during the day and at night)

This ladybug is laid down so that the total height of the bottle stopper outside the bottle is minimal to fit onto a shorter refrigerator shelf

Artistic Process: The background was created with blue, white, purple swirls. The hummingbird, daisies and ladybug are glass casted the grass was created with glass stringers and ground glass.
