Beni Ourains are known for their dense pile and reversible design. You'll see from the pictures, the back is also beautiful. This rug was woven in the Middle Atlas mountain region in Morocco, where temperatures can change drastically. These pieces are significant to Berber culture as the higher pile kept members of the family warm.
