Artistic Process: This bowl was made by cutting multiple layers of different glasses with shards of glass on top in a specific pattern  inside a stainless steel round mold as a dam to contain the glass

The final firing was to form the glass into a shape that stands on its own

Sky Blue transparent glass in a design with a channel are kiln-fired together in my glass studio to create this tall garden stake

The final fused result is then kilnformed into a curve shaped for display and coldworked so the bottom is sturdy and flat
