1932/34 Gibson L-50 back Brazilian Rosewood MacDonald of ChesterWow, check this thing out! A 1932 34 Gibson L 50, in the shape of an L 00 but with more of a arched top. This one reminds me quite a bit of Gibson mandolins I've seen in this period with the beautiful abalone Gibson logo in a kind of cursive and the nice reddish sunburst. As someone who has always appreciated antiques and the fine craftsmanship of the past this strikes me as a true treasure. The sound is dry and a bit mid rangy with a wonderful parlor
