Its a medium sized, vigorous, rosemary like evergreen shrub with claret red stems. Its narrow, rigid leaves are bronzy green when they are young, and turn dark green with blue grey undersides as they mature. Clusters of beautiful, rich orange and red flowers appear in mid to late spring and are followed by black red fruits in autumn. Berberis Claret Red can grow in any
