were first planted in the old hop fields in Westerway in 1995 with the plan to supply machine harvested processing grade raspberries to Cascade Fruit Syrup

The wine is then returned to tank for another 8 months of ageing on fine lees

Its tannins are fine and not very dry at the finish

and coconut blend wonderfully

Round and supple in texture, with wonderfully precise flavour. Great concentration and depth with a little residual sweetness in this ripe vintage. The rich texture and cleansing acid balance gives this wine great immediate appeal yet it also has the structure and depth to age mid term.
