What I liked about having multiple pockets: Quick-grab items stay easy to find (keys, lip balm, headphones) School supplies dont mix with food (important!) Smaller pockets help keep the main compartment clean But I do have one consistent hmm moment: the water bottle pocket situation

Weight Dont underestimate how many things you will likely find yourself stashing in accessible pockets and/or strapping to the outside of your pack
