I prefer braided line, but it mainly boils down to personal preference
Sometimes its almost a little too fast if youre trying to slow roll a swimbait, but if youre fishing deep drop shots, skipping wacky rigs under docks and want to get fish out in a hurry, or just trying to keep up with the trolling motor on full blast, its an absolute game changer
Same applies by the way to the awards given in fishing shows and expos, unless you really think that judges actually took every reel in the show out and fished it hard to test its real life performance and reliability before deciding on what's the "best" reel on show
