Don't expect to cast 100+ yards with this line though, better for trolling...I did toss some on one of my baitcaster bass rigs for use in a small farm pond and it does well ripping 8 to 10lb largemouth through thick weeds, brush, and moss...havnt broke it yet on anything including trees and rocks in the water...itll straighten the hook out or break a limb off before the line snaps
