It was intended to appeal primarily to younger whisky drinkers with its fresh bottle design. It was also promised that this particular bottling would be even smoother and milder than other Suntory bottlings. Despite strong advertising, this whisky was only a moderate success in Japan and production was discontinued after only 2 years.
