This stairwell was taken from the inside the Funkhaus Wien, which was once known as ORF 's broadcasting center, and is the oldest broadcasting building in Austria. Windows, doorways, and stairwells are a recurring symbol in Francescas works; as they represent the space in between. The one realm cannot exist without the other, which offers an expansive effect in a painting. The two places represented offer
